The Public Relations & Media Department of the Ras Al Khaimah Free Trade Zone (RAK FTZ) – one of the fastest-growing and most cost-effective free trade zones in the UAE – has won the Distinguished Honoree Medal in the Communications Department of the Year category at the 2011 International Business Awards.?
The International Business Awards are the only global, all-encompassing business awards program honouring great performances in business. Nicknamed the Stevie® for the Greek word “crowned,” the International Business Awards will be presented at a gala event on October 11, 2011 at Emirates Palace Hotel in Abu Dhabi.?
The RAK FTZ PR & Media Deaprtment received high scores in this category during the two months of preliminary judging and two weeks of final judging by an eminent international panel comprising close to 200 professionals. Honorees were selected from more than 3,000 entries received from organisations and individuals across more than 40 nations.?

Organisations all over the world are eligible to compete in The International Business Awards, and can enter in any of more than 40 categories from Company of the Year and Best New Product of the Year to Corporate Social Responsibility Program of the Year and Executive of the Year. ??
