Some very interesting points were raised in a recent review on Australian interstate relocation.

This demographic prompted speculation by a leading interstate removal company, Fernandos Half Price Removals, that it?s the younger generation who are driving the growth in the affordable self-pack container removals industry.
They say that as a general rule, the younger generation is more likely to have cash flow pressures and are therefore more likely to be on the hunt for affordable, value-added solutions.? They say that the fact that so many younger people are moving interstate could be driving the growth in the cost-effective container removals industry.
Self-move options where the person moving does all the packing and unpacking of the container is significantly cheaper when it comes to interstate furniture removals.
Young adults may also be choosing container hire as their preferred interstate furniture removals mode because it offers a greater degree of flexibility.? People with young families and demanding jobs may find it easier to pack over several days, rather than have to take days off work to oversee someone else doing it.
When it comes to interstate relocation, three of Australia?s eastern states, namely Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria are the most popular destinations, with moves between these three states accounting for 47% of all interstate moves.? It?s not known what percentage of people use DIY self-pack container removals for their interstate relocation ? but it would be interesting to find out.? One thing we do know however, and that is that container hire is becoming the relocation option of choice when it comes to interstate furniture removals.
