They don?t warm up to you quite like other pets do and even if you and your cat are super BFF?s, there will still be times where you question if they actually hate you.

I have had my cats for 16 years now ? that?s more than half my life. They were around before my husband, before my kids and saw me through the creepy teenage years of life. Yet, sometimes I wonder if they are not as big of fans as me as I used to think. There are some things that universally cats seem to do that make us wonder if they hate us, are trying to kill us or if it?s just the way they are.

They Drag Something in For You
There was a time where I thought that if a cat brought in a dead mouse or bird they were proud and trying to share. Now I realize I think they are trying to send a message... to me.

They Make a Mess
They will make things harder for you just because they can. Either they will just miss the litter box, miss it completely for laughs or just kick the litter all over the floor.

They Interrupt You
I used to think they just wanted attention, now I think they are just trying to make us mad.

They will no longer respect the "yours" vs "mine" rule and just take what they want.

They Sit On Your Favorite Jacket
Cats are smart, especially when they hate you. If your cat sits on your newly cleaned clothes leaving little hairs all over, they know what they're doing.

Sure, you may think that they are just being affectionate and trying to cuddle. They know however, that you have somewhere to be. They do that on purpose because they know our "don't get up when cat is on you" rule.
