Culinary and craft beer enthusiasts come enjoy yourselves at Devil?s Thumb Ranch Resort & Spa this fall and holiday season.? Ranging from Chef Demo Classes & Dinners to Oktoberfest Brewmaster Dinner Series to holiday dining and entertainment, guests can package culinary and destination outings into a seasonal getaway.

?Alpenglow Happy Hour at Heck?s; Sundays-Thursdays:

Hungry and thirsty for something different? Enjoy Happy Hour at Heck?s Sundays-Thursdays from 4-6 pm, featuring two-for-one well drinks, $1 draft beer specials, $3 wine-by-the-glass specials, complimentary appetizers (4-5 pm only), half-price Chef?s small plates, and live music on Wednesdays and Thursdays.? No reservations needed ? just stop in!

?Devil?s Thumb Ranch Resort & Spa Chef Demo Classes & Dinners

Held in the Yager House, a tribute to Devil?s Thumb Ranch Resort & Spa founder Rod Yager, this intimate special events facility exudes a cabin-in-the-wilderness kind of charm with modern-day finishes and technology that includes a specially appointed cooking/demonstration kitchen and dining and living room areas.? Guests enjoy a glass of wine while being entertained by Chef Evan as he shares his inside secrets, prepping and cooking tips, recipes and anecdotes.? The lively evenings include a demonstration cooking class followed by a three-course dinner of what was being prepared, recipe book, Devil?s Thumb Ranch Resort & Spa signature chef?s apron and wine pairings.

Cost:

$85/person is inclusive of demonstration cooking class, three-course meal with wine pairings, apron and recipe book.? Class size is limited and advanced reservations are required and are encouraged to be made well in advance.

Times:

Brewmaster Dinner Series

Explore the joys of craft beer pairings with specially created, three-course menus that transform a meal into a memorable dining experience for the Brewmaster Dinner Series.? Executive Chef Evan Treadwell and his culinary team coordinate with specially selected breweries and their brewmaster to customize menus that showcase each beer?s qualities and then invite them to join in at their respective dinner to share their insights, ingredients and processes with guests.

Cost:

$39/person inclusive of three-course dinner, beer pairings and brewmaster gift

Time:

Seatings run from 6 to 9 pm and reservations are recommended.

Thanksgiving Dining at the Ranch

Enjoy Thanksgiving at either Heck?s or Ranch House Restaurant. Heck?s Thanksgiving dinner consists of a plated three-course menu with choice of starter, main course and dessert. Ranch House Restaurant?s Thanksgiving dinner is a four-course menu of amus? bouche, introduction, main course and dessert.

Cost:

Heck?s: $49 (drinks, tax and gratuity not included). Children 6-12 dine for half price; children under 3 eat for free.

Ranch House Restaurant: $59 (drinks, tax and gratuity not included). Children 12 and under dine for half price.

Times:

Heck?s offers regular breakfast service from 7:30 to 11:30 am. The special Thanksgiving menu is offered from 11:30 am to 8:30 pm. Ranch House Restaurant: 4:00 to 9:00 pm.

Christmas Eve

Heck?s and Ranch House Restaurant will offer regular menu selections during their normal hours of operation. Heck?s will be open for breakfast from 7:30 to 11:30 am, for lunch from 11:30 am to 5:00 pm, and for dinner from 5:00 to 9:00 pm. Ranch House Restaurant will also be open for dinner from 5:00 to 9:00 pm.

Christmas Day:

Enjoy Christmas dinner at either Heck?s or Ranch House. Heck?s special Christmas menu offers a plated three-course menu with choice of starter, main course and dessert. Ranch House Restaurant?s Christmas dinner is a four-course menu of amus? bouche, introduction, main course and dessert. Hallowed Grounds Coffee Shop will also be open with extended hours and menu offerings.

Cost:

Heck?s: $49 (drinks, tax and gratuity not included). Children 6-12 dine for half price; children under 3 eat for free. Ranch House Restaurant: $59 (drinks, tax and gratuity not included). Children 12 and under dine for half price.

New Year?s Eve

Dine then Dance and Party to Opie Gone Bad! Heck?s will feature dinner specials in addition to the regular menu; both include complimentary party favors. Heck?s guests may purchase $25 day-of tickets to the Broad Axe Barn for live entertainment by Opie Gone Bad, which also includes two complimentary drink tickets, and a midnight champagne toast and balloon drop. Ranch House Restaurant will showcase a specially created, elegant four-course, plated dinner with menu options, party favors, and entry to the Broad Axe Barn from 10:00 pm to 2:00 am for live entertainment by Opie Gone Bad.? Dinner ticket price also includes two complimentary drink tickets per person for the concert, dancing, midnight champagne toast and balloon drop.
